OB/GYN Hospitalist — Chesapeake Area (Full-Time, $300$340K)

We are hiring Obstetrics and Gynecology physicians to provide consistent, expert inpatient care for pregnant patients presenting to the hospital. You will collaborate with local obstetricians, focus on patient safety and quality improvement, and maintain a favorable work/life balance.

Locations

• Chesapeake, Mechanicsville, Petersburg, and Richmond, VA

Compensation and schedule

• Salary: $300,000–$340,000 annually plus full benefits
• Full-time hospitalist role; typical schedule is 7–9 24-hour shifts per month (≈21 days off monthly)
• No office management responsibilities and no after-hours call

Core responsibilities

• Provide inpatient OB/GYN care and manage obstetric emergencies
• Collaborate with local obstetricians, nursing, and hospital teams
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives
• Contribute to clinical protocols and peer review as needed

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Virginia medical license or ability to obtain one
• Demonstrated ability to manage obstetric emergencies and provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care
