OB Hospitalist — Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician (Abilene, TX)

Seeking Obstetrics & Gynecology physicians to provide hospital-based care for pregnant women, working collaboratively with local obstetricians. This full-time hospitalist position focuses on patient safety and consistent expert care for every patient.

Locations

• Abilene, Austin, Baytown, Beaumont, Bedford, College Station, Frisco, Round Rock, San Antonio, Waxahachie, Wichita Falls (Texas)

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary: $300,000–$340,000 annually plus full benefits
• Typical schedule: 7–9 24-hour shifts per month (approximately 21 days off monthly)
• No office management duties and no on-call responsibilities
• Flexible scheduling with potential for bonuses
• Ability to create your own schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care
• Manage obstetric emergencies and stabilize patients as needed
• Coordinate care with local obstetricians and hospital teams
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical safety initiatives
• Maintain clear, patient-centered communication with patients and staff

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Texas medical license or ability to obtain one
• Demonstrated ability to manage obstetric emergencies and inpatient care
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered skills
