Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospitalist — Newport, RI (Full-Time; $300$340K)

Seeking Obstetrics and Gynecology physicians to join a hospitalist team in Newport, Rhode Island. The role ensures every pregnant patient presenting to the hospital receives expert inpatient OB/GYN care, improving patient safety and satisfaction through consistent, experienced physician coverage.

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary: $300,000–$340,000 annually plus full benefits
• Full-time hospitalist with flexible scheduling; typically 7–9 24-hour shifts per month (approximately 21 days off per month)
• No clinic office management and no on-call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care, including management of obstetric emergencies
• Collaborate with local obstetricians, nursing staff, and hospital teams to ensure coordinated patient care
• Participate in quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care teams

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Rhode Island medical license or ability to obtain one
• Proven ability to manage obstetric emergencies and deliver inpatient OB/GYN care
• Strong clinical, communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
