Locum Tenens Urology Physician — Fargo, ND (MonFri, No Call/Weekends)

A respected healthcare facility in Fargo, North Dakota is seeking a full-time Locums Urology Physician to deliver comprehensive outpatient, inpatient, and surgical urologic care. This weekday role provides a predictable schedule and strong work–life balance—no call, weekends, or federal holiday duties.

Schedule and Setting

• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (80 hours per pay period)
• Practice includes outpatient clinic, inpatient consultations and rounding, and operating room cases
• No on-call, weekend, or federal holiday coverage

Clinical Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality outpatient urology care and perform evaluations and treatments
• Provide inpatient consultations and conduct daily hospital rounds
• Perform a wide range of diagnostic and surgical urologic procedures
• Coordinate specialty referrals, discharge education, and follow-up care
• Complete specialty examinations related to urologic conditions (e.g., Compensation & Pension, Agent Orange evaluations) as applicable
• Adhere to established medication, documentation, and clinical policies

Procedures and Skills

• Comfortable with cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, transurethral procedures (BPH, bladder cancer), endoscopic urology, scrotal surgeries, vasectomy, incision and drainage of prostatic abscesses, and surgeries involving kidney, bladder, ureter, urethra, prostate, penis, scrotum, and testes
• Experience with major abdominal and lymphatic procedures related to urology
• Familiarity with holmium laser, ESWL, and fluoroscopy procedures
• Robotic surgery certification preferred but not required

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Urology residency with at least three years focused on urologic surgery
• Board Certified in Urology
• Minimum two years of clinical urology experience
• Active North Dakota medical license, current DEA registration, and NPI
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Annual Office of Inspector General (OIG) statement required
