Locums Emergency Medicine Physician — Community ED in Cleveland, TX (Diverse Cases, Supportive Staff)

A community-oriented Emergency Department in Cleveland, Texas is seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within a collaborative clinical team. This role offers a varied case mix, supportive staff, and the opportunity to make an immediate, meaningful impact on the local community.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with a broad spectrum of emergency conditions
• Perform emergency procedures consistent with Emergency Medicine scope of practice
• Stabilize critically ill and injured patients and initiate appropriate resuscitation
• Order, interpret, and act on laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics
• Coordinate care with consulting specialists, nursing, and ancillary hospital staff
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
• Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Current DEA registration
• Current ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS certifications (as required)
