What you’ll do
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of emergency conditions
- Perform emergency procedures commonly within EM scope and stabilize critically ill or injured patients
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests
- Collaborate closely with residents, specialists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
- Accurately document patient encounters in Meditech
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency required
- Ultrasound fellowship preferred
- Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain licensure
- Current DEA registration
- Current ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS certifications as required
