What you’ll do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of emergency conditions
• Perform emergency procedures commonly within EM scope and stabilize critically ill or injured patients
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests
• Collaborate closely with residents, specialists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
• Accurately document patient encounters in Meditech

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
• Completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency required
• Ultrasound fellowship preferred
• Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain licensure
• Current DEA registration
• Current ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS certifications as required
