Job Description
Join a team focused on delivering consistently excellent care to every pregnant patient who presents to the hospital. In this hospitalist role you’ll work alongside local obstetricians to improve safety and satisfaction — with the autonomy to practice evidence-based care and the schedule flexibility to enjoy real work/life balance.
Where you’ll work
Opportunities are available across Georgia, including Augusta, Albany, Covington and Savannah.
What the role looks like
- Full-time hospitalist position where you help ensure an experienced physician is available for every laboring patient.
- Typical schedule: 7–9 24-hour shifts per month (about 21 days off each month).
- No office practice or traditional on-call duties — focus on inpatient care and obstetric emergencies.
- Create a schedule that fits your life while maintaining continuity and high-quality patient care.
Compensation and benefits
- Competitive salary range: $300,000–$340,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package.
- Flexible scheduling with potential for shift or productivity bonuses.
- Full medical, dental, vision and prescription coverage.
- CME allowance and support for professional development.
- 401(k) with employer match.
- Medical malpractice insurance with unlimited tail coverage.
- Leadership development and advancement opportunities.
- Generous physician referral awards.
- Confidential peer-to-peer counseling and access to a supportive national network of OB hospitalists.
Who we’re looking for
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Georgia medical license or ability to obtain one.
- Skilled in managing obstetric emergencies and providing comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care.
- Strong communicator who thrives in a team environment and is committed to patient-centered care.
- Passionate about clinical excellence, quality improvement, and advancing maternal health.
Why this is rewarding
This position lets you practice with clinical autonomy, contribute meaningfully to maternal and newborn outcomes, and maintain a lifestyle outside the hospital. If you want to focus on inpatient obstetrics, collaborate with community providers, and enjoy a predictable schedule, this role could be an excellent fit.
