Practice Details / Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of emergency conditions
• Manage high-acuity medical and traumatic emergencies; stabilize critically ill/injured patients
• Perform emergency procedures within EM scope of practice
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostics
• Collaborate with specialists, nursing, and ancillary teams to deliver timely, evidence-based care
• Accurately document patient encounters in Meditech

Qualifications

• ABEM or AOBEM board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain
• Current DEA registration
• ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS certifications (current)
