Job Description

Join a collaborative hospital-based team in Brookhaven, Mississippi, delivering expert, patient-centered care to every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital. This role is designed to improve maternal safety and satisfaction by ensuring consistent, experienced physician coverage for obstetric patients.

  • Brookhaven, MS (additional opportunities in Jackson and Meridian, MS)

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care and manage obstetric emergencies
  • Collaborate closely with local obstetricians, nursing staff, and hospital teams
  • Promote quality improvement initiatives and patient-safety practices
  • Communicate clearly with patients and families to ensure excellent patient experience

Qualifications

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Mississippi medical license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Demonstrated ability to manage obstetric emergencies and deliver high-quality inpatient care
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and patient-centered communication skills
  • Commitment to continuous clinical improvement and professional growth
