This ongoing locum opportunity offers competitive hourly pay and the chance to practice in one of the region’s busiest, well-supported Emergency Departments, with credentialing across multiple nearby freestanding EDs for flexible shift options.

Emergency Department overview (Main site)
- Annual volume: 120,000+ visits
- Pediatric visits: ~20% (covered by dedicated Pediatric EM physicians)
- 45-bed ED: 29 adult beds, 8 pediatric beds, 8 fast-track beds
- Five affiliated FSEDs within the system
Coverage model
- Main ED physician coverage: 88 hours/day
- Pediatric ED coverage: 24 hours/day (dedicated pediatric staff)
- APP coverage: 59 hours/day
Typical shift options
- 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- 12:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Practice specifics
- Physicians do not write admitting orders or respond to floor codes
- Dedicated pediatric coverage and strong operational/specialty backup
