Locums Nocturnist Emergency Medicine Physician — Night Shifts, Modern Renovated ED in West Palm Beach

Join a busy, newly renovated Emergency Department in West Palm Beach, FL, as a locum Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physician providing evening and overnight (PM/Nocturnist) coverage. This ongoing PRN opportunity offers a collaborative team environment, advanced technology, and a high-volume, diverse patient population.

Position details

• Ongoing PRN (as-needed) engagement with no defined end date
• 12-hour night shifts available: 5:00 PM–5:00 AM, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Minimum commitment: 4–6 shifts per month
• No additional call required

Clinical environment

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of emergency conditions
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill or injured patients
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostics
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, nursing staff, APPs, and ancillary teams to deliver timely, patient-centered care
• Accurately document encounters in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

• Board certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
• Active Florida medical license and current DEA registration
