Locums Urgent Care NP/PA $90/hr, Flexible Monday & Friday Coverage in Torrington, CT

Locum assignment in Torrington, CT. Coverage primarily needed Mondays and Fridays. Providers will split shifts between two nearby clinic sites and must be willing to accommodate last-minute schedule changes. Local candidates preferred; must be able to travel at least 45 minutes when needed.

Compensation: $90/hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide walk-in urgent care for patients of all ages (pediatrics through geriatrics)
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage common, non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses
• Perform procedures including suturing, splinting, and incision & drainage (I&D)
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe appropriate treatment
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
• Travel between two clinic locations during the shift as required

Requirements:

• Current Connecticut license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Experience in urgent care or similar ambulatory acute care settings
• Comfortable treating all ages
• Flexible with site assignments and last-minute schedule changes
• Able to travel at least 45 minutes for shift coverage
• Local candidates preferred
