Locum Tenens General Orthopedic Surgeon (Total Joints) — Fly-In, Nevada (BC/BE)

Join a well-established orthopedic surgery program serving a rural community in Nevada. We’re looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Orthopedic Surgeon with total joint experience who wants a full-scope practice, a predictable schedule, and the convenience of a fly-in model—no relocation required.

What you’ll find here:

• A balanced mix of elective and acute orthopedic cases, with a growing focus on elective volume (total joints, arthroscopy, hand, basic fracture care)
• Predictable 10 shifts per month providing 24/7 ED orthopedic call coverage
• Shifts selected 120 days in advance for reliable planning
• Fly-in model with licensing help and all travel covered
• Hospitalist-supported admissions and an established, collaborative surgical team
• Onsite clinic and protected OR time to build your practice efficiently

Compensation & benefits:

• $3,195 per shift
• Full benefits including medical, CME, and 401(k)
• Malpractice insurance with tail coverage
• No non-compete agreement

What we’re looking for:

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training or strong experience in Total Joint Replacement preferred
• Eligible for Nevada medical licensure (we provide licensing support)
• Comfortable managing both elective and acute orthopedic cases and participating in ED call coverage
• Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and a commitment to patient-centered care
