Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon — Arizona (Level II Trauma, Predictable Schedule, Strong Support)

We’re looking for a fellowship-trained orthopedic trauma surgeon to support a Level II Trauma Center and work with an experienced, collaborative trauma team. Opportunities are available in Tucson, Phoenix, Glendale, and Mesa.

What you’ll do

• Provide operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients across a broad spectrum of injuries and fractures.
• Participate in trauma call coverage and coordinate care with trauma surgery, emergency medicine, hospitalists, and rehabilitation teams.
• Balance surgical cases, inpatient management, and follow-up clinic responsibilities.
• Deliver timely documentation and maintain high standards for quality and patient-centered care.

Schedule highlights

• 183 24-hour shifts annually.
• Blocked scheduling with 7-day stretches to allow focused clinical time.
• Built-in recovery time between rotations to support sustainable work-life balance.

Who we’re looking for

• Board eligible or board certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship completion preferred.
• Experience managing orthopedic trauma patients in a hospital-based setting.
• Eligible for Arizona medical licensure and able to obtain/maintain hospital privileges.
