Key Responsibilities

• Provide diagnosis and management of acute and chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and other renal conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Manage dialysis patients and coordinate dialysis-related care with multidisciplinary teams
• Collaborate with primary care and specialty colleagues to ensure patient-centered care transitions and follow-up
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical record documentation
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows; participate in clinical education activities
• Engage in quality improvement and relevant academic initiatives

Qualifications

• MD or DO (or foreign equivalent)
• Completion of accredited Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology
• Eligible for an unrestricted West Virginia medical license
• Commitment to clinical excellence, teamwork, and medical education
