Medical Director / Attending Physician Full-Time Hospitalist (Skilled Nursing) Springfield, MO

Join a collaborative team delivering high-quality care to post-acute and long-term care patients across skilled nursing facilities in Springfield, Missouri. This full-time role combines clinical practice with on-site leadership, working alongside experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care and oversight in assigned facilities. Opportunities also exist in Kansas, Michigan, North Carolina, and Wisconsin.

Key features

• Flexible full-time schedule: physicians typically cover each facility 1–2 days per week
• No fixed start/end times, no call, and no overnight shifts
• Average 18–25 visits per day

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
• Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
