Locums CRNA — Ambulatory Surgery Center (Shrewsbury, MA)

Location: Shrewsbury, MA (ambulatory surgery center; ~45 minutes west of Boston)

Compensation: $175–$235 per hour

Assignment overview:
Provide anesthesia care for a high-volume ambulatory surgery center. Cases are primarily routine (“bread-and-butter”); regional anesthesia skills are preferred. Work independently or collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to ensure safe, efficient perioperative care.

Schedule:

• Weekdays only
• Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 7:00 AM start
• Wed: 8:00 AM start
• Shifts typically 8–10 hours/day
• No call requirements

Clinical responsibilities:

• Preoperative assessment and anesthesia planning
• Administer general, MAC, and regional anesthesia as appropriate
• Monitor and manage intraoperative physiologic status
• Post-anesthesia recovery and handoff
• Maintain documentation and adhere to ASC protocols and safety standards

Minimum requirements:

• Active Massachusetts CRNA license
• NBCRNA certification
• BLS and ACLS current
• Prior ambulatory surgery center experience preferred
• Regional block skills preferred but not required
