Job Description

Provide clinical leadership and deliver medical care across local skilled nursing facilities in Owen, Wisconsin. Partner with nurse practitioners and physician assistants to manage post-acute and long-term care patients, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and oversight within assigned facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Admit, evaluate, and manage residents in skilled nursing and long-term care settings
  • Provide ongoing medical oversight, develop care plans, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Supervise and collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants
  • Complete documentation and regulatory paperwork using company-provided iPad with LTE
  • Participate in quality improvement and facility medical staff activities as needed

Schedule and Workload

  • Full-time position
  • Typical coverage: each facility 1–2 days per week
  • No fixed daily start/end times; flexible scheduling
  • No call, no overnight shifts
  • 18–25 patient visits per day

  • Primary: Owen, Wisconsin
  • Additional opportunities: Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligible for licensure
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
  • Strong clinical decision-making, leadership, and communication skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
  • New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure encouraged to apply
