Nocturnist Physician (Hospitalist) — Great Falls, MT — 15-on/15-off, Signon & Retention Bonuses

Join a rapidly growing, hospital-employed team in Great Falls, MT as a nocturnist within a collaborative, well-respected hospitalist program. This full-time role features a balanced 15-on/15-off schedule (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), modern facilities, comprehensive specialty support, an open ICU, and a culture that prioritizes physician well-being and professional growth.

Practice highlights:

• 15 on / 15 off nocturnist schedule with dedicated nighttime partner
• Work alongside Pulmonary/Critical Care physician and telemedicine critical care/pulmonology support
• On-call specialty backup and experienced day team (2 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners)
• Average daily hospitalist census: 15 patients; typical nursing ratio 1:5 (adjusted for acuity)
• Procedure experience preferred but not required
• Access to advanced diagnostics and technology

Hospital features:

• 36-bed acute care hospital with full specialty backup and a 10-bed open ICU
• 2 cath labs with an 8-bed pre/post-procedure unit
• 5 operating rooms plus a 4-room ambulatory surgery center
• 5 observation beds and an 8-bed Emergency Department staffed by experienced personnel

Requirements:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Eligibility for Montana medical licensure
• Strong clinical judgment, decision-making, and communication skills
• Comfort with hospital procedures preferred; commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
