Part-Time Medical Director / Attending Physician — Skilled Nursing (Springfield, MO)

Location: Springfield, Missouri (serving local skilled nursing facilities)

Role overview
Provide part-time medical direction and attending physician services across assigned skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. Work collaboratively with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver patient-centered care and provide clinical oversight at each site.

• Columbia, Doniphan, St. Charles, Strafford

Additional facility opportunities (nationwide)

• GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MI, MO, NC, OH, TN, WI

Schedule and clinical expectations

• Part-time; physicians typically cover each facility 1–2 days per week
• No fixed start/end times, no call, no overnight shifts
• Average 18–25 patient visits per day
• Flexible scheduling to support work–life balance
• New graduates who are board-eligible and pursuing licensure encouraged to apply

Requirements

• MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and leadership skills
