Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician — Hudson, FL

Locum tenens Emergency Medicine physician position in Hudson, FL. Provide emergency care across acute presentations in the ED with flexible scheduling.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform rapid triage, history and physical exams, and diagnostic interpretation.
• Stabilize and treat acute medical, traumatic, and pediatric emergencies.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging; develop and implement treatment plans.
• Perform minor procedures (suturing, laceration repair, wound care, joint reductions) and airway management as needed.
• Prescribe medications, manage resuscitations, and coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Document encounters accurately and communicate with consulting services and ancillary staff.

Required qualifications:

• ABEM or AOBEM board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Active Florida medical license.
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Prior ED experience preferred; locum tenens experience a plus.
