Join a Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center in metropolitan Phoenix as a full-time Trauma Surgeon / Surgical Intensivist / Acute Care Surgeon. This immediate opening is ideal for a fellowship-trained surgeon who excels in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting and wants to deliver comprehensive surgical and critical care while contributing to teaching and research.

Position highlights:

• Practice at a designated Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center providing the full spectrum of trauma, emergency, and critical care surgery.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and report to the Chief of Trauma and Chair, Department of Surgery.
• Participate in a strong academic environment with teaching responsibilities and opportunities for health services, translational, or basic science research.

Qualifications:

• M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school
• Completion of ACGME-accredited general surgery residency and surgical critical care fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care (American Board of Surgery)
• Demonstrated expertise in emergency surgery, trauma management, and surgical critical care
• Track record of teaching and research activity
