Inpatient Attending Psychiatrist Adult Inpatient Program (Phoenix, AZ)

Join a large multi-specialty faculty practice group as a full-time inpatient psychiatrist in Phoenix, Arizona. You will provide care for hospitalized adults with serious mental illness in a collaborative, teaching-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage an inpatient caseload of 9–10 adult patients with an average length of stay of ~22 days, primarily involuntary admissions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Participate in teaching and mentoring of residents and medical students (faculty appointment available for eligible candidates).
• Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice on the unit.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, an Arizona medical license prior to start date
