Job Description

We’re looking for a dedicated Medical Director/Attending Physician to provide high-quality care across skilled nursing facilities in and around Ayden, North Carolina. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, a collaborative team environment, and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of post-acute and long-term care patients.

You’ll work alongside experienced nurse practitioners and physician assistants to deliver patient-centered care while providing clinical leadership and oversight at assigned facilities. Current local opportunities include Henderson, Kinston, and Snow Hill, NC. Additional facility openings exist nationwide in select states including GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MI, MO, OH, TN, and WI.

What the schedule looks like:

  • Part-time coverage, typically 1–2 days per week at each facility
  • No fixed daily start/end times, no call, and no overnight shifts
  • Expect to see about 18–25 patients per day
  • Flexible scheduling designed to support a strong work–life balance
  • Company-issued iPad with LTE for streamlined documentation
  • New graduates who are board-eligible and pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO with an unrestricted U.S. medical license, or eligible for licensure
  • Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
  • Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
  • A commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
