PartTime Medical Director / Attending Hospitalist Skilled Nursing Facilities (Bainbridge, GA)

Join a collaborative team providing high-quality care to post-acute and long-term care patients across skilled nursing facilities in Bainbridge, Georgia. This part-time Medical Director/Attending Physician role offers schedule flexibility, clinical leadership, and close collaboration with experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver patient-centered care and oversight within assigned facilities.

Schedule and responsibilities

• Part-time coverage; physicians typically serve each facility 1–2 days per week
• No fixed start/end times, no overnight shifts, and no on-call duties
• Manage 18–25 patient visits per day
• Provide clinical supervision, attend multidisciplinary meetings, and coordinate care with facility staff
• Company-provided iPad with LTE for streamlined documentation
• New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
• Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
