Board-Certified/Eligible Anesthesiologist — Academic Level I Trauma & Burn Center (Phoenix, AZ)

We’re looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible anesthesiologist to join a university-affiliated, teaching hospital in metropolitan Phoenix. This facility is a state-designated Level 1 Adult Trauma Center and ABA-verified Burn Center, offering a high-acuity, fast-paced clinical environment with opportunities for teaching and academic appointment.

What you’ll do

• Provide perioperative anesthesia care across a broad case mix: Labor & Delivery, neonatal and general pediatrics, general and robotic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, burn care, level 1 trauma, orthopedics, podiatry, and special procedures outside the OR.
• Use TEE for perioperative and critical care patients when indicated.
• Participate in roughly 11,000 anesthesia encounters per year.
• Supervise and teach residents (including emergency medicine and surgery), CRNAs, student nurse anesthetists, and medical students.
• Collaborate daily with a multidisciplinary team in a high-volume, complex-care setting.

Schedule and compensation

• In-house call 4–5 times per month.
