Outpatient Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant — Colorado Springs, CO

Join a growing outpatient gastroenterology practice in Colorado Springs, CO. Work with a collaborative team of GI specialists in a predictable weekday schedule with strong clinical support.

Position details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Lunch: 1 hour daily
• Patient population: Adults (18+)
• Patient volume: ~12–16 patients/day
• Inpatient rounding: rotation every 6 weeks
• Support: dedicated medical assistant

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic GI conditions in adults
• Conduct new patient consultations, follow-ups, and treatment planning
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies
• Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and prevention
• Participate in rotating inpatient rounding schedule every six weeks
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists and clinical support staff to deliver patient-centered care

Compensation & benefits

• Salary: $120,000–$135,000
• 45% production bonus

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
• Board certified as NP or PA
• Colorado license active or eligible
• Experience in GI or adult internal medicine preferred
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
