Locum General Surgery PA — Outpatient-Focused, No Call, $115/hr — Neptune City, NJ

Compensation: $115/hour

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• No call

Practice setting

• 90% outpatient, 10% inpatient
• Physician-led team focusing on General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, and Endocrine Surgery

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients in outpatient surgical clinics
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care for general, oncology, and endocrine surgery patients
• Perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate follow-up care
• Assist with inpatient consultations and postoperative management as needed
• Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record

Required qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Active New Jersey PA license
• NCCPA certification
