Part-Time Rapid Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant — Martinsburg, WV

Join our Rapid Care team in Martinsburg, West Virginia as a part-time Advanced Practice Provider. We offer flexible scheduling and a collaborative clinical environment where you’ll provide high-quality care for patients with a range of acute illnesses and minor injuries.

What you’ll do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and episodic medical conditions
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate
• Perform procedures within your scope of practice and credentialing
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care when needed
• Provide clear patient education and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and specialists to ensure excellent patient outcomes

Nurse Practitioner qualifications

• Master’s degree from a CCNE-accredited nursing program
• National APRN certification from a recognized certifying body
• Licensed or eligible for RN and APRN licensure in West Virginia
• FNP or ACNP certification preferred
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and ATLS required; PALS encouraged

Physician Assistant qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an ARC-PA approved PA program
• NCCPA certification required
• Licensed or eligible for licensure through the West Virginia Board of Medicine or the West Virginia Board of Osteopathic Medicine
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and ATLS required

Experience

• Acute care, urgent care, or emergency medicine experience preferred
• Eligible new graduates will be considered
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians and clinical staff
