Outpatient Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant — Martinsburg, WV

A respected healthcare organization in Martinsburg is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its growing outpatient pediatric team. This role is ideal for an advanced practice provider who values collaborative, patient-centered care and is committed to delivering comprehensive services across the pediatric lifespan.

Position details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Setting: Outpatient only
• EMR: Epic
• Typical patient volume: 16–18 patients per day

Call expectations

• After-hours phone coverage only; no in-person call
• Frequency: 1–2 weekdays per month and approximately 3 weekends per year

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions
• Conduct well-child visits, preventive care, and immunizations
• Care for patients from birth through the provider’s chosen age range
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certified as an NP or PA
• Active West Virginia license or ability to obtain one
• DEA registration required by start date
• Pediatric experience preferred
