Pediatric Physician (Outpatient, Faculty Role) — Martinsburg, WV

This role blends comprehensive outpatient pediatric care with meaningful opportunities to teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in an academic environment. Inpatient work is optional for those who want it.

What you’ll do

• Deliver full-scope outpatient pediatric care for patients from birth through young adulthood (up to 24 years).
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
• Provide preventive care, wellness exams, and immunizations.
• Manage a typical patient panel of about 16–18 patients per day.
• Keep accurate, timely medical records and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in clinical teaching and mentorship, supporting a positive, collaborative learning environment for students, residents, and fellows.

Work schedule & setting

• Monday–Friday schedule
• 40-hour work week
• Outpatient-focused practice, with optional inpatient participation for interested providers
• Faculty role with teaching responsibilities

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency Program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Eligible for or holding a West Virginia medical license
• DEA registration required by start date
