Job Description

Join an established orthopedic practice in Littleton, NH as a full‑time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with orthopedic experience and proficiency in trigger point injections. You will provide comprehensive musculoskeletal care in a collaborative setting within a 25‑bed critical access hospital that serves as one of the region’s largest facilities and offers multiple specialty services.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and review histories to diagnose orthopedic conditions (fractures, sprains, arthritis, etc.).
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies (x‑ray, MRI, labs) and incorporate findings into care plans.
  • Develop and manage treatment plans, including medications, physical therapy, injections, and referrals for surgery when appropriate.
  • Perform office‑based and procedural interventions and assist with operative cases (arthroscopy, fracture management, joint procedures) as defined by scope of practice and supervision guidelines.
  • Prescribe and monitor rehabilitation regimens and educate patients on injury prevention and musculoskeletal health.
  • Coordinate care with surgeons, physical and occupational therapists, and other team members.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and providers.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.
  • New Hampshire state license and DEA registration required.
  • Demonstrated experience in orthopedics and competency with trigger point injections.

Compensation & benefits

  • Salary range: $110,000–$130,000.
