Locum Emergency Department Physician Board-Certified EM (Overnight Shifts, North of Boston)

Compensation: $275 per hour

Position overview:
Provide locum tenens emergency medicine coverage across three ED sites north of Boston. This is a temporary role requiring 3–4 shifts per month with greatest need overnight. No pediatrics; not a trauma center.

Key duties:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat emergency patients
• Deliver timely, evidence-based emergency care
• Document assessments, treatments, and disposition accurately
• Communicate and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in patient care quality improvement activities as requested

Requirements:

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (EM required)
• Valid, unrestricted Massachusetts medical license
• Current DEA registration
• Available for overnight shifts and able to cover 3–4 shifts per month

Three ED sites located just north of Boston. Easy access to Boston’s cultural, academic, and professional resources while based in New England communities.
