Locums CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) — Ocala, FL (Full-Time, Weekend & Call)

Join a high-acuity surgical team in Ocala, FL as a locum CRNA providing full-scope anesthesia care across a diverse caseload. This role offers flexible scheduling, collaborative practice with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and an opportunity to participate in call.

Assignment details

• Full-time availability required
• Weekday shifts primarily 14 hours (13-hour shifts may be considered)
• Greatest need on Mondays and Fridays; weekend coverage required

Call schedule

• Participation in call rotation preferred but not mandatory
• Typical frequency: about 2 call shifts every 6 weeks, including:
  • One weekday call: 3:30 PM–7:00 AM
  • One weekend day shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM

Case mix

• Cardiac, orthopedics, general surgery, neurosurgery, vascular
• Endoscopy, gynecology, robotics, trauma
• No pediatrics or obstetrics

Key responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia care across a wide variety of surgical procedures
• Perform regional blocks, spinals, and invasive line placements (central and arterial)
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative teams to ensure patient safety and quality care
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation

Requirements

• Active Florida CRNA license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Trauma experience required
• Proficiency with regional anesthesia, spinals, and central/arterial line placement
