Position highlights

• Provide Orthopedic Trauma and Acute Care Surgery (ACS) coverage alongside an experienced orthopedic trauma partner.
• 183 24-hour shifts annually, organized into structured 7-day work stretches with built-in recovery time.
• Balanced schedule with dedicated OR time and outpatient follow-up clinics.
• Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support to optimize workflow and patient care.

Clinical focus

• Management of high-acuity orthopedic trauma, including surgical and post-operative care.
• Required expertise in pelvic and acetabular fracture management.
• Collaborative care with multidisciplinary trauma and surgical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage complex orthopedic trauma patients.
• Perform trauma-related surgical procedures and provide acute care surgery support.
• Participate in trauma call coverage and deliver outpatient follow-up care.
• Collaborate closely with APPs, nursing, and hospital teams to drive optimal outcomes.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Completion of an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship.
• Demonstrated experience in high-acuity trauma care with strong pelvic and acetabular fracture skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and commitment to patient-centered care.
