Locum Tenens Inpatient Neurologist — Richmond, IN (Dec 14–21, 2026)

Location: Richmond, Indiana
Assignment: Inpatient Neurology locum coverage
Dates: Monday, December 14, 2026, 7:00 AM – Monday, December 21, 2026, 7:00 AM
Potential for additional future dates

Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient neurology care and manage acute neurologic conditions
• Perform required inpatient procedures and consultative services

Mandatory procedural skills:

• Thrombolytic therapy for stroke
• EEG
• EMG
• Spinal/paraspinal/epidural blocks
• Brain death examinations
• Lumbar punctures
• Subdural taps

Desired (non-mandatory) skills:

• Nerve biopsy
• Muscle biopsy
• Nerve conduction velocity (NCV) testing
• Botulinum toxin (Botox) administration
• Evoked potentials
• Peripheral nerve blocks

Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology; Board Eligible physicians must obtain certification within 5 years of residency
• Active Virginia medical license
• Minimum 2+ years of experience
• Current BLS certification
• Flu vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions may be considered)
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions may be considered)
