Locums CRNA – Full-Time Weekday OR Role in Globe, AZ (Orthopedics-Focused, July–Aug)

Join a collaborative surgical team in Globe, Arizona as a full-time locum tenens CRNA. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule, a varied case mix with an emphasis on orthopedics, and a supportive perioperative environment.

Assignment details

• Duration: Coverage needed for July and August (full-time)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Minimum shifts: 10–20 per month
• ORs: 2 main operating rooms

Call and weekend expectations

• Weekend coverage: required on a 4-week rotation
• Call: required (off-site beeper call)
• Rotation pattern: two weeks with no call; third week serves as a float week with call responsibilities
• Compensation: hourly callback pay if called in

Case mix

• Majority: Orthopedic surgery
• Additional specialties: General surgery, OB/GYN, Gastroenterology
• Occasional: Cardiac catheterization lab cases
• Not included: Cardiac surgery or neurosurgery

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia throughout the perioperative continuum
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and create individualized anesthesia plans
• Administer and monitor anesthesia intraoperatively
• Perform post-anesthesia evaluations and manage pain as appropriate
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and the perioperative team to ensure excellent patient care
