This locums opportunity offers flexible scheduling, ongoing shifts, and a supportive team environment.
The Role:
- Location: Fort Morgan, CO 80701
- Specialty / Unit: OB/GYN
- Number of positions: 1
- Shift Type: 24-hour call (7a-7a)
- Schedule: Multiple stints available; Ongoing dates expected monthly.
- Stints end the following morning at 7a. Expect 10-15 shifts total per month for all locums coverage.
- Setting: Hospital call (No Trauma / Not Rated)
- FTE: 1
- Scope: General OB/GYN (hospital call, deliveries, and related inpatient care)
- EMR: Epic (virtual EMR training required prior to start)
- Support staff: RN
- Backup specialties: General surgery 24/7; urology coverage minimal (approx. 2 days/week)
- Typical volumes: ~15 deliveries per month
- Average worked callback hours (historical): Weekday ~6.9 hrs; Weekend ~5 hrs
- Credentialing timeframe: 60 days standard (30 days or less for temps when possible)

- Number of beds: ~50
- Admissions: Varies — hospital call only, so patient volumes fluctuate based on deliveries
- Reason for coverage: Current locum unable to fill these dates
- Emergency privileges: Yes, with a clean file
