Job Description
Locums - A rural hospital in western Nevada is seeking a Hospitalist for short-term coverage.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Hospitalist
- October 16–23, 2026; 24-hour shifts (12pm–12pm); solo rural coverage
- Will accept provider who can see all ages or adults only
- Adult procedures: intubation, central line placement, paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture
- Pediatric procedures: intubation, lumbar puncture, neonatal circumcision, neonatal UVC/peripheral line placement
- 25-bed facility; approx. 18 avg daily encounters; 4 ICU beds
- EMR: Cerner
- Active Nevada license required; ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and recent case logs including showcasing 3-5 logs of vent management, emergent intubations, and central lines in the past 24 months required
