Valley Baptist Physician Network is seeking a General Surgeon in Brownsville, TX. Join an established group with experienced providers. Come and enjoy year-round semi-tropical temperatures while making a big impact on the community!
Highlights:
- Office located in MOB is connected to Valley Baptist Hospital, walking distance to Hosp OR
- 2-3 days in clinic and OR block times, able to adjust as needed
- Clinic Hours M-F 8a-5pm
- 70/30% IP/OP
- Est 7 call days/month
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship training or extensive experience
- Trauma Certification is a plus

This position carries privileges at Valley Baptist Medical Center – Brownsville, a 243 licensed bed, Level III Trauma Center and regional leader in comprehensive care, with the potential for privileges at our sister facility in Harlingen.
Advanced Technology: Recently added an additional da Vinci surgical robot, Brainlab computer navigation system, AIRO mobile intraoperative CT, and Cirq robotic surgical arm – the first to bring minimally invasive robotic spine surgery to the Rio Grande Valley
