Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) — Alpena, MI (3-Month Assignment)

We’re looking for a Locum CRNA to join a team in Alpena, MI for a full-time, three-month assignment with the possibility to extend. You’ll provide anesthesia care across both outpatient (about 70%) and inpatient (about 30%) settings, covering a wide variety of cases in a supportive, small-town environment.

Schedule and call

• Regular hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
• Off-site call is required due to staffing shortages: one weeknight per week and one weekend per month.
• Weeknight call shift: 3:00 PM–7:00 AM.
• Weekend call shift: Friday 3:00 PM–Monday 7:00 AM.

Clinical scope

• Anesthesia for endoscopy, general surgery, OB/GYN, orthopedics, pain management, urology, vascular, and pulmonary procedures.
• No cardiac or neurosurgery cases.
• Required skills: spinals, epidurals, venous and arterial catheter placement.
• Preferred (not required): proficiency with nerve blocks.

Requirements

• Active Michigan CRNA license
• NBCRNA certification
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Available to start ASAP
