Medical Director / Attending Hospitalist — Skilled Nursing Facilities (Parsons, KS)

Join a team providing medical oversight and direct care to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in Parsons, KS.

Location coverage and schedule

• Primary location: Parsons, Kansas.
• Additional facility opportunities nationwide: GA, IL, LA, IN, MA, MI, MO, NC, OH, TN, WI.
• Full-time; physicians typically cover each facility 1–2 days per week.
• No fixed start/end times, no call, no overnight shifts.
• Typical daily volume: 18–25 visits.
• Company provides iPad with LTE for documentation.

Role and responsibilities

• Serve as Medical Director/Attending Physician for assigned skilled nursing facilities.
• Provide clinical leadership and oversight, partnering with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
• Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care for post-acute and long-term care populations.
• Participate in care planning, quality initiatives, and coordination with facility staff.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligible for licensure.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine.
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and leadership skills.
