Part-Time Medical Director / Attending Physician — Hospitalist (Strafford, MO)

Join a collaborative team providing high-quality care to post-acute and long-term care patients across skilled nursing facilities in Strafford, Missouri. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling, no overnight or on-call duties, and the opportunity to lead clinical care while partnering with experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

Role overview:

• Serve as attending physician and clinical leader across assigned skilled nursing facilities.
• Oversee patient care, provide medical direction and consult as needed to the onsite APP team.
• Conduct 18–25 patient visits per day, typically covering each facility 1–2 days per week.
• Document efficiently using a company-provided iPad with LTE.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine.
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and leadership skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
