Approximately 7-10 days of non-trauma call per month.
Call compensation is paid separately based on the coverage arrangement.
Coverage involving two hospitals currently pays $1,200/day..
One-hospital coverage currently pays $850/day for days 1 6 and $1,200/day beginning with day 7..
Physicians must be able to meet the required proximity expectations associated with call coverage..
An Advanced Practice Provider is hired in conjunction with the surgeon to support the practice. The surgeon can help determine how that APP is utilized across the operating room, clinic, and call responsibilities based on practice needs..
DAX documentation technology is available, and physicians seeing more than 24 patients per day may request consideration for live scribe support..
