Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Pulmonology (Boston, MA)

Location: Pulmonary practice just south of Boston, MA

Role summary:
Join a physician-led pulmonary team to evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions in an outpatient setting. Work collaboratively with pulmonologists and interdisciplinary staff in a stable, team-oriented practice.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform history and physical exams; evaluate and manage acute and chronic pulmonary conditions
• Conduct follow-up visits and ongoing disease management
• Order, obtain, and interpret diagnostic studies (PFTs, imaging, labs)
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
• Provide patient education on disease management and prevention
• Accurately document encounters in the electronic medical record
• Coordinate care with pulmonologists and interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant Studies
• Current NP or PA certification
• Massachusetts license or eligibility for licensure
• Prior pulmonary experience preferred; new graduates with strong interest considered
• Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
