PMHNP Residency Program Director — Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Lead

Job Description

We are hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to design, implement, and oversee our PMHNP Residency Program. Our clinician-founded, clinician-led organization delivers virtual and in-person mental health care across Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, and Maryland.

Scope of role

  • Lead development and management of the PMHNP Residency Program and curriculum.
  • Recruit, onboard, and support clinical preceptors and faculty.
  • Mentor, supervise, evaluate, and provide formative feedback to PMHNP residents.
  • Provide clinical education with emphasis on pediatric and adolescent psychiatry and evidence-based care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary outpatient teams to integrate training with clinical services.
  • Maintain program documentation, ensure compliance with residency accreditation and behavioral health regulations.
  • Monitor program quality and implement continuous improvement and professional development activities.

Compensation & benefits

Required qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • PMHNP-BC certification.
  • Active PMHNP/APRN license in PA, VA, NJ, or MD; willingness/ability to obtain additional state licenses as required.
  • Minimum 3 years clinical PMHNP/CRNP experience, including at least 1 year in an educational, supervisory, or leadership role.
  • Strong clinical competence in pediatric and adolescent psychiatry and in evidence-based practices.
  • Familiarity with behavioral health regulations and residency accreditation standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
