Job Description
We are seeking a Noninvasive Cardiologist for locum tenens coverage in Florida. This is an inpatient role providing cardiology consults, follow-ups, and discharges, with weekday and weekend coverage required.
Overview
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Flexible schedule; days/week may vary
- One weekend per month, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Night call: 1–2 per week, 30 minutes response time
- Average Inpatient Census: 15–20 patients
- Primarily adults
- EMR: Cerner
Responsibilities
- Complete daily cardiology consults
- Manage patient follow-ups
- Complete discharges
- Provide inpatient cardiology coverage
- Supervise APPs as required
- Complete charting in real time or by the end of each shift
Requirements
- Board Certified
- ACLS required
- Active Florida license required
- Comfortable with inpatient cardiology and APP supervision
