Part-Time Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Skilled Nursing (Maryville, MO)

Join a growing team dedicated to providing patient-centered primary care to residents in skilled nursing facilities around Maryville, Missouri. This part-time role offers flexibility, no overnight or on-call duties, and the chance to work closely with physicians and facility staff to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.

What the schedule looks like

• Part-time with flexible scheduling to fit your life
• Six-hour facility shifts; rounds usually start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
• No call and no overnight shifts
• Typically see about 15-20 patients per day

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Perform daily rounds and manage both acute and chronic conditions
• Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Maintain clinical and regulatory compliance for the facilities you serve
• Use company-provided iPad with LTE for documentation and communication

What we’re looking for

• Active, unrestricted U.S. Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• Board certification for NPs (ANCC, AANPCB, PNCB, or AACN) or NCCPA for PAs
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and a patient-focused approach
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
