Part-Time Hospitalist NP/PA - Flexible Days, No Call, Skilled Nursing (Columbia, MO)

This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, no call or overnight responsibilities, and collaborative work with physicians and facility staff to provide high-quality, evidence-based care.

Position highlights

• Part-time with flexible scheduling; six-hour facility shifts with rounds typically starting between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
• No call or overnight shifts
• Average 15-20 patient visits per day
• Conduct daily rounds, manage acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans
• Work closely with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Maintain clinical and regulatory compliance
• Company-provided iPad with LTE

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted U.S. Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• Board certification for Nurse Practitioners (ANCC, AANPCB, PNCB, or AACN) or NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-care skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
