Locum Medical Oncologist (GI Focus) - Fitchburg/Worcester, MA (1-Year Outpatient Assignment)

We’re looking for a Locums General Medical Oncologist with strong GI oncology experience to provide outpatient coverage in Massachusetts. This is a long-term locums opportunity - anticipated to run about one year with a good chance for extension.

You’ll cover two outpatient clinics in Fitchburg and Worcester. Local candidates are preferred, but we will consider travel candidates who can provide reliable, consistent coverage.

• Compensation: $450 per hour
• Start: ASAP
• Assignment length: 1 year (potential to extend)
• FTE: 1.0 (40 hours/week)
• Schedule: 4 days per week; 8 clinic sessions (8:00 AM-4:30 PM)
• Patient volume: roughly 10-16 clinic patients per day
• Focus: primarily GI oncology
• Support: APP and RN navigator; clinic director and manager on site
• EMR: Epic
• Bone marrow biopsy experience preferred

What we’re looking for

• MD or DO with fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology
• General medical oncology experience with a strong preference for GI oncology expertise
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• Active Massachusetts medical license required
• DEA and CSR required
• Bone marrow biopsy experience preferred (but not required)
